Bad reviews on products.

Personally there was plenty of time I bought something because of how well it was advertised. Lately, I bought an iPhone 4S and Nintendo 3DS. I thought the iPhone was going to be this cool phone that did things that other phones didn’t but I was completely wrong. The only cool thing that it does that others phones don’t is it talks to you. The name of the voice recorded help is Siri. In commercials, Siri seemed to help the people with anything they wanted, but when I got the phone home I found out Siri can’t always find the things I need. Overall the phone the same as other phones.
I recently bought a Nintendo 3DS for my niece. I thought it would be something fun and exciting to get her for her 5th birthday. This product was advertised to have 3D photos, better pixels, 3D for all games, and a charging cradle which keeps is suppose to keep it in sleep mode. I felt like the advertising was just to get people to buy the product. My niece and I played with the 3DS to find out that the advertisement was partially false. The 3DS did have better pixels than the DSi but other than that I felt like it was a waste of money. I was originally sold on the product because of the 3D for all games and 3D photos. Each game and photo was not in 3D.

Before buying products do your research on it. Not everything may be as good as the commercials or pictures. If possible go to store such as Best Buy, Gamestop, or any store that sells the item you want and see if they have a display for you to try out. This is a good way of trying the product instead of wasting your money on buying it.
